Added new roles:

Town

Lovers
At the start of the game, the lovers are told who each other are. They will comprise of 1 townie, and 1 scum. Depending on the host, they can win with their own side, or they cannot win with their own side and they must win together if everyone else is dead. If one of the lovers is killed, the following night the other lover kills themselves

Beloved Princess
The Princess is like a normal townie, except when they are killed or lynched, the following day is skipped.

Jailer
The Jailer can choose someone alive other than them self to jail during the day. That night, the Jailer and that person will share a night chat (the Jailer will be anonymous). The target will not be able to perform night actions or have other night actions performed on them that night (e.g. if they are targeted for a kill, they will not be killed). If a lynch did not occur during the day, the Jailer may choose to execute the target at any point. The Jailer may not execute night one. Once a Jailer has executed two times, that Jailer may no longer execute. If a Witch controls the Jailer, the target will be automatically executed at the end of the night, even if the Jailer has already executed twice. Executions cannot be role-blocked.

Scum

Lovers
At the start of the game, the lovers are told who each other are. They will comprise of 1 townie, and 1 scum. Depending on the host, they can win with their own side, or they cannot win with their own side and they must win together if everyone else is dead. If one of the lovers is killed, the following night the other lover kills themselves.

Traitor
The traitor knows who is scum but the scum do not know who the traitor is. The scum can chose at any time to recruit the traitor. If the traitor is not recruited by the scum, they will appear innocent to Cops. A traitor becomes a normal scum member once recruited.

Scum Usurper:
He is considered a normal scum except he can only win if the godfather dies. Of course, if all of the scum die, he loses. The other scum do not know that he is a Scum Usurper.

Evil Neutral

Lyncher
The Lyncher must get his lynchee lynched. At the start of the game, the Lyncher is told who the Lynchee is. If the Lyncher is killed, or the lynchee is killed before he can get the lynchee lynched, he loses.

Witch:
The Witch may choose someone alive to witch and anyone alive (including themselves or them self) for them to visit, and that person will be forced to perform their night action on that person, if they have a night action and at least one use of that night action left.If you witch a Jailor, they will execute at the end of the night, even if they have already executed twice. If a person kills themselves because a witch forced them to target them self, they will be notified that they killed them self via witching and the next day it will be revealed as a regular kill from that person’s faction.

Benign Neutrals

Jester
The Jester's goal is to get lynched. If he is lynched, he wins the game, but loses if he is killed off by any other method.

Survivor
The Survivor may choose to use a vest at night, which will make them immune to being killed that night. The Survivor has three vests to use.
In order for the Survivor to win, they must be alive at the end of the game.

Amnesiac
On any night during the game, the Amnesiac may choose the role of a dead person other than Godfather, or another Amnesiac to become. This decision cannot be role-blocked. The next day, it will be revealed that the Amnesiac took that role, but not the Amnesiac’s identity.
In order for the Amnesiac to win, they must survive until the end of the game, or, if they choose a role, satisfy the win conditions of that role.

Role Changes:
Updated the Doctor's role description. The doctor cannot prevent the jailer from executing.
Updated the Godfather's role description. The Godfather can die from a jailer executing them.
Updated the Roleblcoker's role description. Roleblocking the jailer will not prevent them from executing.

Rule Changes:
Added the following Rule: Checking someone's post count to find out if they have any sort of night/day chat will get you modkilled.

New Roles:
Town

Daytime Vigilante
The Daytime Vigilante has 1 bullet. During the day, the Daytime Vigilante may shoot one person before the lynch has been made. After the daykill, the game goes by as normal. His kill must be declared publicly.

Vampire
Much like a townie unless he is killed by the mafia. If he is killed by the Mafia, the host will announce that none was killed during the night. The Vampire then becomes part of the Scum as a Scum. Once he is converted, he can only win with the mafia. If he is not converted by the mafia, he must win with the town.

Mason Leader
The Mason Leader picks one target per night other than themselves. If the target is part of the town, the Mason Leader will successfully change that target's role to 'Mason' and gain a night chat with them. If a Vampire, any other role is targeted, the Mason Leader will be informed that the recruitment was a failure. If the Mason Leader recruits a scum role, they will be killed.

If the Mason Leader dies, the first Mason recruited will become the new Leader.

There will never be more than one Mason Leader in a game.

Bodyguard
Picks one target alive at night other than themselves. If that person is attacked by any role (or is the victim of a Spree Killer), the Bodyguard will kill the attacker and die themselves in the process. The killer's target is notified they were saved.

Mayor
The Mayor may PM the host during the day phase to reveal themselves as the Mayor. An announcement will be posted and their vote will henceforth count for two (three votes if there are 10+ players), however the required number of lynch votes remain the same. There is never more than one Mayor at the beginning of a game. Until the Mayor reveals, their vote only counts for one.

Scum

Terrorist
During the day, can bomb anybody during the daytime, thus killing the victim and himself.

Consigliere
Like a cop, they can investigate one person and learn that person's role.

Blackmailer
The blackmailer can chose one target to blackmail. The target who was blackmailed will be post restricted until the end of the day. The target who has been blackmailed will be notified.


Buffs:
Traitor
Allowing him to watch mafia chats but not be able to post in them.

Vigilante and Jailor
They gain an extra bullet/execution if there is 12 or more players in the game.

Fixes:
Switch Jester and Lyncher factions.

The following roles will not be used in any current games, as reworks or buffs are being applied to them. They will either be ready for the next game to be used, or scrapped intirely.

New Roles

Town

Politician (This role can also be found under mafia)
The Politician can buy a player's vote during the night. He then controls that person's vote during the day.

Bus Driver
The Bus Driver can choose two living people to swap at night other than them self. All night actions performed after the busing will instead be performed on the other target. The people who are bused do not have their own night actions redirected unless they target someone else who was bused. If more than one busing takes place with some targets identical and some not, they will be performed in a random order. If an even number of buses on the same two people occur, they will fail, and both busing roles will be notified of this. If a person targets someone bused and it ends up redirected to them, they will be notified that they killed them self via busing and the next day it will be revealed that they killed them self via busing. If a Witch tries to force a Bus Driver to target someone, the first target they list will be bused with the target the Witch forced them to target.

People who are bused will be notified that they were bused, but not by whom or whom they were bused with.

Jack-of-all-Trades
The Jack-of-all-Trades shares the abilities of the vigilante, the roleblocker, the cop, and the protector. After they have used an ability, they cannot use that ability again.

Burglar
During the night, the Burglar can steal an item relating to an individual's role, and in sucessfully doing so they strip the target of their ability (depending on the moderator). And depending on moderator's decision, they may gain that power.

Nexus
Any ability targeting the Nexus will target a random player instead.

Lightningrod
All night actions will be redirected to the Lightningrod instead.

Daycop
Like a normal cop, except they are allowed to investigate one person during the day.

Hider
During the night, the Hider can chose to go into hiding at another person's house. Any night actions targeting the Hider will result in failure. However if the hider's target is targeted for night actions, the following may happen:
- If the target investigated, the investigator not only get results from his target, but also learn of the hider's idenity
- If the target is healed, the hider is healed as well
- If the target is killed, the hider will also die.
- If the target is recruited, the hider will be recruited as well

Reincarnator
During the night, the Reincarnator may revive a player, but the Reincarnator kills himself in the process. The revived player is given a new hidden town role (or mafia role if a mafia was revived for some reason).

Commuter
During the night, the commuter can chose to leave the town. If they preform this action, they cannot preform an action the following night.

Mafia

Janitor
The Janitor may choose to clean someone alive at night, even if they are not attacked by that Mafia that night. If that person dies that night, their role and faction are not shown the next day, and the Janitor will receive that information. The Coroner will still receive the correct role and faction in the future. The Janitor has two uses of his ability.

The person's true role is PM'd to the Janitor upon a successful death.

Assassin
During the day, they can kill one person. And afterwards the game goes on normally. They must declare their kill publicly. They only have 1 bullet.

Changes

The allignment "Scum" has been changed to "Mafia"

Evil Neutrals and Benign Neutrals are combined and now known as "Third Party"

Mayor and Beloved Princess
The two roles are being combined (This will all be under the Beloved Princess role). In addition to this, the Beloved Princess may now stop a lynch. This does not require them to reveal their role, as it is done privately. They may only stop themselves from getting lynched once, and they may only stop another person from getting lynched once.

Jester
Once the Jester has been lynched, they can do one of three things
- Stay dead and kill a target who lynched him during the night.
- Revive themselves and become any role they want.
- Come back to life as a Jester who cannot die during the night

Lyncher
Once the Lyncher has lynched his target one of three things can happen
- They will become immune to kills during the night but keep their role.
- They can become any role they so desire.
- They will publicly announce that they are leaving the town.

The Survivor is deemed to need no changes and is thus being thrown back into the pool of viable roles.

Role Modifiers are added to roles depending on the moderators discretion. There will be a seperate post explaining them.

Misc

Players that may need to be replaced or modkilled due to inactivity will not be allowed to play within the next game. This change takes effect after game 2.

If an admin takes part in a game, https://www.quicktopic.com/ will be used as the medium for all night chats the admin is not apart of except for the dead chat.

One more Third Party Role

Student
On any night during the game, the Student may choose a person as a mentor. If that person dies that night or is a Godfather, Student, Mayor, or Mason Leader, the decision will fail, and you may choose again that same night. Upon success, you will gain access to a night and day chat with that person the following night, and, if they die, you will assume their role.
In order for the Student to win, they must choose a mentor, satisfy the win condition of their mentor’s role.
In the case that a Student selects a mentor that already has a night chat of his own (i.e. is Mafia, Cult, Mason, Jailor, or has another Student), the Student may not directly participate in those night chats until his mentor is dead. In the case of a mentor with multiple Students, all Students will assume their mentor’s role upon the mentor’s death.

Role Categories!

If the role has a β next to them, the β will mean Bastard. If the role has a β next to them, unless the game is a bastard game, it will not be used. If a role is marked with ββ it means that it is borderline bastard, meaning they may be determined as bastard roles in the future but will be used in normal games.

The following Roles are considered Bastard Roles:
Vampire
Lightningrod
Blackmailer
Jester
Survivor
Lyncher

Roles that are borderline Bastard Roles:
Bus Driver
Usurper
Watcher
Framer

The following Role Modifiers are considered Bastard Modifiers:
Hated Townie
Voteless Townie
Lightningrod
Actor
Priest
Naive Cop
Paranoid Cop

New Role:

Vengeful Townie:
Like the Jester, the Vengeful Townie may kill someone who voted to lynch them during the night after he has been lynched. However they win with the town regardless of if they have been lynched or not.

Role Changes

Beloved Princess
Their vote cannot be bought by a politician.

Nexus (Not the modifier)
If they are allowed to toggle their ability on and off, they can only do it two times per game, and during those times they are unkillable. If they are not allowed to toggle their ability on or off, they will not redirect kills.

Lightningrod (Not the modifier)
Depending on the host, they are allowed to toggle their ability on or off 2 times per game. If this is the case, the Mafia will also be provided with a lightningrod.

Reincarnator
The resurrected player's role will no longer be changed.

Jester
They may no longer ressurect themselves after getting lynched.

Lyncher
If their target is lynched, they can kill someone during the night along with themselves.

Daycop
Their results are given at the end of the day. Their results are not effected by the Framer. If the moderator decides to give the daycop his results immediately, the Framer can impact their results.

Does not kill themselves upon revival of a player.

The Lovers are now being thrown back into the role pool but are considered a bastard role.

These changes will be in effect after the current game.

New Role

Jailerkeeper
They can protect someone during the night but upon doing so they roleblock them.

Role Changes

Framer
- Still a pernament effect.
- Will only produce a non-guilty result on anyone besides the GF or themselves if they are the same alignment.

Lovers are no longer a bastard role. A pair of lovers will be on the same alignment. However, the tragic variant (1 lover on town, the other mafia) will be found in bastard games.

Role Modifiers
X-Shot
A role with this modifier will be notified on how many times they can use their ability.

Macho
Prevents the player from being protected in any way.

Week
Will die upon visiting a mafia.

Non-Consecutive Night
Prevents the user from using their night ability 2 nights in a row.

Night Specific
The user can only used their ability on the specific nights told by the mod.

Ascetic
The player is immune to all night roles except night kills.

Enabler
They have no specific abilities, however if they die, the ability in which they were told enabled will not be allowed to be used.

Bulletproof
They will be immune to a single nightkill during the nights. However if multiple people were to target that player, they die.

Backup
If the role they backup dies, they will become that role.

If there is a 2nd mafia in the game, they will be refered to as the Werewolfs

This is an edit, a lot of shit change and tbh it's a lot I'm not going to cover it all here just go read the main list.
