Why the raigeki breaks wouldn't cards like bottomless or hell even phoenix wing wind blast be a lot better in the current meta.

PWWB follows the same issue as the Raigeki Break in that it targets, which sort of sucks against Kozmo. At the very least, Breaks deal with Pendulums a lot better. And I've been wanting to run Bottomless, but there's not space, really. I might end up bumping a Storming out for it.

Why are you shaming me! Rate my Deck sounds better then Deck Vault ;~;
Also Valky, this may be just my burgesstoma love, but if you're using the breaks when considering pendelums, why not just run Burgesstoma Dinomischus instead, since that does with pendelums a lot better the breaks do. That is, if you are willing to include OCG.

Well, I'm not willing to use OCG, but were the Burgess to become TCG, I'm still not sure I'd run Dinomischus. It does banish, but it also has less versatility in that it can't target set cards. Of course, that isn't the biggest thing, and banishing is almost objectively better. I'd have to test it. But yeah no OCG.

With twin twister becoming legal in about a week do you think you'll be editing the deck to fit the more backrow destruction that will be availible to us or will you keep running the same deck with the same amount of traps? In my opinion you should throw out the mirror forces and the fiendish chains for chainables like breakthrough skill and PWWB so that you can at least play around TT if people target your cards, however that's just an idea.

To be honest, I was thinking on bumping the Chains anyway. Definitely keeping the Mirror Force variants; those are too valuable against Kozmo. That being said I'll definitely be maining Twin Twister myself, maybe even bumping my discard traps and MST for 2 copies and an extra trap. Gives me room for a lot more staple traps, and Twin Twister is the best discard "trap" we'll have for a while, in my opinion.

Re: Rate My Spellbook Deck ~
Isn't Fate a much better permanent solution against the Kozmos because putting them back into their hand doesn't accomplish anything while destroying them with regular mirror force will just trigger all their effects causing them to swarm the field and still OTK you?

Re: Rate My Spellbook Deck ~
Perhaps, but it does help against the clusterfuck swarms they tend to drop. I only have so many Fates, some of which I can use on Kozmotown and transition into Storming, in hopes they don't have a normal summon.

What about dark renewal, it would allow you to revive your kyocoos or pull them from your deck whenever you need them and at the same time gets rid of a summon your opponent did. While you have no cards which activate when they are send to the grave I'd say it's a rather good card to get your "beatstick" from your deck or easily revive it not to mention it can be used to revive downerd magican.

Re: Rate My Spellbook Deck ~
I have gone into Downerd maybe twice in almost a year; this deck almost never goes for Xyz summons. And the issue with Dark Renewal is, once again, that it targets. In an age where everything is Kozmo, floats, or flood-locks the field, I need board wipes or negations. The discard traps are only in there because of World, but those will be coming out for Twin Twisters and other staple traps ASAP. Imminent changes once Twin Twister hits are probably:
-1 MST
-2 Raigeki Break
-2 Fiendish Chain
+2 Twin Twister
+1 Solemn Warning
+1 Bottomless Trap Hole
+1 Torrential OR Time Space Trap Hole
I've also been thinking about taking out Kycoos and another card for that new Master Monk. The thing acts like a Lose 1 Turn for the deck in a sense, but it's more versatile and a Spellcaster.
