Friday Fun Night! {1}

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Firday Fun Night event! This is a weekly event where we all get together and play a game on Friday! Cause Friday Game Night... Anyhow, since this is sorta sudden, Today I'ma leave this open for suggestions, tomorrow I'ma post a strawpoll of those options and detail that post about potential prizes for each game and then friday we'll all have fun. I'm thinking around 9:30est, but if anyone else has a different time to suggest, go for it.

Karaoke Party (Mic required)

How about, I dunno... a "live" Yugioh tournament or would that be too weird on a yugioh academy?

Is there something wrong with having an event for those that don't like playing that children's card game?

how about a movie of yugioh since i seen other places do it, I myself ner watched a yugioh movie before i think. Isnt yugioh live a nother way of saying tournament and those who dont play like myself wants other things besides some tournament . A movie sounds good from yugioh to anime which i tried to get into but i dont have no clue on where to start at all. The only animes I've watched in a life time is yugioh, pokemon and dragonball Z

I rather have just any movies be shown in general, like an in general movie night. But I'm just trying to get the community together and award prizes. Don't really think a movie can do that as well as a fun game, but if people want a movie we can do it next week. I think more preparation needs to be done before a movie night.

BTW I'm gonna post the strawpoll when I get back from school, so post your suggestions here till then!

Maybe next week, but A. I have no idea how it would work B. I dunno who would host it, but certainly not me and C. There is no time to plan on at all because of my shitty planning. But this is something you should talk to Luna about.

As for prizes. They are going to be very generous because the primary way of getting credits is through tournaments, events, and dueling. Things of which not that many people in this community participate in.

Cards Against Humanity:
For each round won, you get 5 credits.
For each game won, you get 15 credits plus the 5 credits for winning the round.

BGO:
1st: 50 Credits
2nd: 35 Credits
3rd: 25 Credits
Participating: 5 Credits

Karaoke Party
Each Song you got 1st in: 30 Credits
Each song you got 2nd or 3rd in: 25 Credits
For winning the most songs: 10 additional Credits
Participating: 10 Credits

Alright, we'll play CoH today at around 930est. For how long? I dunno. But what I do know is some of us will probably be having some laughs in skype so if you want to join us, just pm me your skype name and I'll add you. And what I also know is We aren't gonna play CoH again next week (unless people riot again) because I make sure other games get a chance.

Can we still join even if we don't have a camera for skype?

You can join the skype if you don't have a camera. I don't think anyone will be using their face-cam in general. You can join if you don't have a mic either.

I have no idea how I would give prizes for it. I considered it though. I just don't think it would work with the current size of our community. I might consider it for next week if I could figure out how to award prizes for it. And I'll probably post the link in chat and on here.

Okay, so after that, I'm adding one rule to friday fun nights: no inviting outside friends.
Besides that, Necro won some rounds, I won some rounds, Neon won some rounds, Valky one some rounds, we had fun, but probs more fun if I didn't ruin it by inviting others. I'll keep this thread open for suggestions.
