Background story: Morgan was a man of power and status at the time. He was a up-and-coming Privatier to the country's Navy and was very looked up to due to his personality. His job was to scout the ocean’s with a smaller crew and a smaller boat to make sure if the waters were safe for the fleet. One day a rumor was spreading around Morgan’s crew that eventually reached him about how his captain was seen with Morgan’s girlfriend. This enraged Morgan as he approached the captain the next day to ask if the rumors he were hearing were true. The captain denied everything he said, and later that night Morgan’s girlfriend was asked the same question as she denied it as well. Morgan knew something was not right, but he could not call it out without the evidence. Over the next week, Morgan was gathering information to pin the captain for this deed to get him relieved of his position and put behind bars, but as soon as Morgan docked his ship. Guards came out of nowhere and arrested him under the charges of Treason and Piracy. Morgan was then thrown into jail, his girlfriend left him due to the charges, and he was executed a few days later. Morgan then woke up as it felt like a terrible nightmare he just saw, until he looked around and there was nothing but him and a dark void. Out of the ground oozed a shadowy figure wearing a black coat. This dark mist began pouring out of it. It then opened it’s eyes at Morgan which were bright red and soulless. “You made me wait quite a while.” The figure spoke in a light faded voice as Morgan stared with no expression. “You seek power, correct?” Morgan nodded his head slightly to the figure. “Then let us form a pact. Since your name has been disgraced already, why not hoist the flag and wreak havoc...? The "other you" who exists within desires it thus..” He held out a hand that formed from the shadows arm as Morgan stared coldly as he slowly lifted his arm and shook its hand. “I am thou and thou art I...There is no turning back...The skull of rebellion is your flag henceforth!” Morgan then immediately woke up with his clothes tattered and multiple different scars around his body. He patted around his body making sure that nothing was out of place as Malus appeared out of his shadow. “We both occupy the same body now, so we need to both take care of it by getting some coin for ourself.” Morgan agreed as they both traveled to the nearest town as they were met with a guild. Malus and Morgan agreed as they walked into the guild to take up an easy job to get some coin to get some food. It was then that both of met the others that he would soon join together unknowingly.
