Presidential Election!

Yey! For those who live in the states, our country could possibly go to shit after November 4th. BOO! It could be a "political revolution" quoting my friend Bernie. Yay! So, let's start a discussion. Who do you think should be president of the US and why?

For me I pretty much have to say Bernie, otherwise A. I'll most likely get shot in my household because I hear about Bernie just about every day. Like seriously, the mood in the house is depended on if Bernie wins a state or not and B. To be honest, free college and a lot of other stuff he's saying sounds great. At least he cares about the people instead of getting payed by Wall Street.

My only problem with Bernie is that there is nothing in the world that is free, as much as I would love that since I am going to college after this summer. Most likely if he came in then he would have to fight a massive uphill battle against Congress to even attempt this. That plus him being an open Socialist is iffy as Socialism led to Communism and considering America's history with Communism *cough cough* The Cold War *cough cough*, I doubt Bernie would win.

At the rate it is going, it looks like Trump vs Clinton for the final election and I hate both candidates. Mostly though I dislike Trump because of all the stuff he has said in this race with no care in the world. Plus if you take everything Trump has said about the Muslims and replace the word "Muslims" with "Jews", you have an eerie mirror image to Adolf Hitler.

Though I will laugh if Trump actually tries to enforce his hateful claims as, unlike Hitler who was in charge of the German Parliament, Trump would not be in charge of Congress and Congress can veto any of his suggestions to "Make America Great Again", which by the way Hitler was quoted as also saying a similar message in "Make Germany Great Again".

My standard with politics is to vote for the lesser of all the evils. Since my family is registered as Republican, I would throw money to Ted Cruz. I like Cruz's ideas for the government and I think he could actually make a difference.

No, he is not a SOCIALIST, he is a Demoncratic Socialist, which is much different than normal socialism. That is a very common misconception with Bernie and the whole ordeal of democratic socialism.

Also, all of these candidates are absolutely atrocious.

I agree it will be Trump VS Hillary, but since Hillary always beats Trump, she would win. If I had to choose my poison, I'd say Bernie. He'd wreck the country like every other candidate, but at least not as bad.

The way he can give us free college and health care is by raising taxes. Europe's taxes vary from 25-50%, depending on the general population of the area. That huge tax rate is what pays for those free services, which include; free college, health care, medicinal services, and free wi-fi (yes, free wi-fi).

Why free wi-fi? Most, if not all normal jobs in Europe, especially the UK, have job applications online instead of paper, making the internet absolutely necessary, but I digress.




All candidates are atrocious, but at least Bernie will balance out the benefits and drawbacks. Yes, it will be an uphill battle, but just simply increasing taxes can make much of what he is saying very possible.

He wants to bring the U.S. into the first world. We already are a 'first world' country, but we do not have many of the things a first world country, mainly Europe, Canada, most of South America, and parts of Asia have, thus having the U.S. compared to a third world country.

Two things: A. We have never seen true communism. Everyone who claims to be communist is socialist, because if they were communist, they would not have a government.
B. It's mostly the old people that are concerned about communism. Like, the young people that live in the states probably have no idea what that experience is like, so they don't think it's so bad.

Actually, seeing Bernie in the final election is very possible. Clinton is in the lead now because she got the southern states, but Bernie easily has a good chance of getting the delegates needed to get nominated.

And also, playing devils advocate, What Trump is saying sorta makes since. Terrorism is a problem, so let's ban Muslims until there can be a way to deal with terrorism. And I think he could probably put the country in a better spot economically.

2 things: A. You're forgetting about executive order.
B. Congress could be mostly republican.

I think Clinton is atrocious, but I also think Trump is MORE then atrocious. And he's not even a politician. Electing Trump would be the start of WWIII. Let me explain.

Trump wants to "Make America Great Again." There is one problem with that: He will only care about America. What does this mean? Well, let me introduce you to my friend, Vladimir Putin. Whats stopping him from going to war with everyone? NATO and moreso the US. So, Putin can just go "Heeeeey Trump. Here's trillions of dollars; let me take over this country." Trump would most likely say sure. So, while Putin is giving Trump trillions of dollars for a country and Trump is making America great again, Russia will eventually become big enough to the point where they can go to war with the US. This will result in either:

A. Nuclear Warfare, resulting in half to all of the population of the world dieing or
B. We could agree to not use nukes, and we would get overwhelmed by both sides of the country (Pacific and Atlantic) resulting in Russia controlling the world and no one having the power to make a move on them.

So yeah, Trump will make America great again, he'll just end up starting WWIII.

We are honestly losing members because of this post alone. Can we please lock this.

I read that mitt romney could be elected somehow, super unlikely, but at this point i'd choose him over anything.

Predictions: Trump and Bernie will win. Marco Rubio and Bernie if some stupid thing happens and underdog rubio comes in with the RKO.

If Trump is elected, then the U.S. population could rebel and start their own civil war again before WWIII happens.

Mostly, the minorities will rebel. So, one of the four scenarios are possible:

1.) Trump is assassinated.
2.) As soon as people realize Trump is awful, there will be public outcry and he can be impeached/recalled.
3.) Anti-Government militias begin popping up and will overthrow local governments, eventually state governments, and so forth.(Or peaceful protest instead.)

OR another scenario could be that everyone would rally and demand change that Trump MUST abide by.


At the same time, Trump wouldn't be able to do ANY of the things he is saying he can do. There have been studies and all of his plans, including the wall, are impossible to do without absolutely demolishing the economy and sparking a world war. Not to mention, Congress wouldn't allow Trump to go through with the plans. He can run his mouth all he wants, but he ultimately has to ask Congress for permission, and to an extent, the Supreme Court, in regards to the Muslim ban.

1. Look at that face, so sexy, I'd vote 4 that face, why wouldn't you?

2. Slogan is too gooood... I mean, just read it "Wool the world" why wouldn't you want to have a sheep that wools it? It's a big selling point in my opinion, at least.

Bernie though, that's my man. HE CARES. Free college, great. Him, great.  Every other thing going free... Idk, that's not really good for the economy, now is it?  He'll raise taxes by 10 for every 20, but eh... it's better than WWIII, isn't it? Incorrect good sir, according to several studies over fifty percent of the population is dissatisfied with Trump and Clinton (which will be the nominees in all likelihood) It seems as if the third parties would have the biggest shot. If Gary Johnson can get his shit together.

Bernie should be because everyone else will get pissed off if trump becomes president. I do not have anything wrong with a woman being president but i have a problem if its Hilary is that woman.
