[TAoB](Mid/High) Journey to the island 1

Hiding the first post to make scrolling and looking at the actual RP easier.
- Spoiler:
- A man in his late 20s was standing in front of a window of a ship looking at the endless blue ocean in front of him. The man didn't seem very impressive, he wasn't tall or muscular. The colours of the clothes he wore were starting to fade and they looked somewhat stretched. The shirt he was wearing was very light blue, however it was clear it once had a much brighter color which had a print of multiple playing cards. Further more he wore normal jeans and a pair of normal shoes which noses were almost worn out. His light brown hair was messy like he just woke up and didn't bother doing anything about his hair. As the man was looking out of the window, the door behind him swung open with a loud screech. A man in a suit was the one who had opened the door and seemed to be the polar opposite to the one looking out of the window. He was tall, muscular and and looked like he cared what people thought about him. The suit looked like it was made for this man which made him look even more impressive. His voice echoed throughout the room as he spoke, it was a deep somewhat hoarse voice.
"Hey Anthony, how long do you think you can just stay around here? You know that we'll be arriving shortly, if it weren't for me I'm positive you'd still be on the island."
The man turned around with a carefree smile on his face as if the words didn't phase him and sighed. "I know, I know. You don't have to keep reminding me every time you get the chance Dirk. What were you doing anyway, you also almost missed the boat. That's very unlike you." Anthony replied with a playful tone in his voice his voice was fairly neutral, almost no emotion that he didn't want to could be heard from his tone. Although he sometimes spoke a bit too fast and a syllable was lost, other than that there wasn't anything special about his voice.
"Yeah, that's right. However after noticing that you weren't on the ship 30 minutes before we were going to depart I decided to go looking for you, since knowing you the chance of you missing the boat was high. You might've defeated me in tournaments before, however your behavior outside the tournaments aren't anything but unprofessional." Dirk said with a sharp tone in his voice.
Anthony chuckled nervously "You've got a point there, however how could I stay focused while I was thinking about all the children who will go to this school?" He said with excitement in his voice.
Dirk started to calm down a bit and sighed. "I get where you're coming from, however you should REALLY mind the time." He took a quick glance at his watch. "Hmm. we're not scheduled to arrive for another 30 minutes." As soon as his sentence ended a sly grin appeared on his face and asked "Wanna play?"
"You still gotta ask?" Anthony replied without thinking in a playful tone. "So wanna play for real or just for fun?"
Dirk's grin grew wider. "You still gotta ask?" He said in a similar tone to Anthony.
"Well then, seeing how you challenged me, I'll begin. My turn. Draw! Hmm..." As soon as the duel began Anthony seemed to change, his personality and the vibe he had changed in a snap. From easy-going and lazy to completely focused and serious. "I set a monster and end my turn." Anthony's voice seemed deeper and could easily be heard throughout the entire room, due to the confidence that was behind the voice. He made a simple hand gesture at the end of his turn signifying Dirk could go.
Dirk looked at Anthony to see if he could read a bluff from his face but nothing was showing. "Okay then, my turn. Draw! It's best to have a strong start, and hope you've got nothing there. I normal summon witch's apprentice and activate Yami. My monster now has 1250 attack. Battle phase. My monster attacks your set one."
Anthony flipped the monster and grinned. "Too bad, Armail has 1300 defense. Take 50 damage."
Dirk's face was completely calm however he wasn't. 'A monster with 1300 defense, really?! I would've prefered a mystical elf over that." He sighed. "Well that's everything I can do for now. Your turn."
"Well then." Anthony said with an excited voice. "This is where things get interesting. Draw! I tribute my armail to tribute summon lava battleguard in attack mode."
Dirk's face twitched for a second. "Lava Battleguard huh, that's a pretty good card. Was it your recommendation?"
"Uhuh, anyway Lava Battleguard attacks your witch."
Dirk sighed and put his monster in the graveyard "I take 300 points of damage."
"Well then I think I'll leave it at that for now. Your turn. Let's see if you can draw a card that can combat my Lava Battleguard."
Dirk drew a card. 'Exactly the card I was waiting for.' He set the card he just drew and 2 cards in his spell and trap card zone and passed the turn to Anthony.
"Ah you bastard, you know I don't know these decks by heart." Anthony exclaimed. "Ah well, nothing I can do about it. Draw! Exactly what I needed. I equip legendary sword to my Lava Battleguard which boosts his attack and defense by 300 points and I attack your face down."
Dirk smiled. "Sorry, it's a Mystical Elf and with Yami her defense is 2200, you'll be taking 350 points of damage now."
"Is this your definition in fun, tying the lifepoints with your oppon-" As he started looking back at his cards he'd noticed the time. "Sorry I have to leave."
"Afraid you might lose because you can't get over my monster?" Dirk said with a wide smile on his face.
"No, well actually yes. However that's not the point. We'll be arriving shortly, and I doubt people want to see me wearing this." He gestured to his outfit.
Dirk sighed. "For once you're right. Go, you might still have enough time to fix everything." He said in a playful tone.
About 20 minutes later 2 men were standing on the ship, both wearing suits. As the wind was blowing rather strongly they were looking at the harbor which was getting closer and closer. "You ready for this Anthony?" Dirk asked. Anthony nodded, if one were to compare how he looked before and now no one would believe it was the same person. His hair was neatly combed, he wore a well tailored suit which made him look taller and bigger than he actually was. He sighed. "I hope people will show up and don't think it's some sort of prank."
"Don't you worry about that." Dirk exclaimed. "We've got perfectly credible financial backers who surely have promoted the hell out of this school." A security guard came running towards them. "Mister Deon, mister Bobson, please come inside for your own safety we're about to dock." With that they walked inside and waited until the docking was complete.
About 15 minutes later a small desk was put next to the entrance to the ship where Anthony sat and Dirk was inspecting everything on the ship hoping everything was in order.

Allison panted and gasped for air, running through the streets, past the various crowds of people. The roads were packed, likely with other prospective students and people who wished to see the ship set sail. Regardless, it was hard to move, let alone run. After having overslept, hearing another one of her parents' lectures, and eating breakfast, Allison was beyond late, and her only thoughts were of what might happen if she missed the boat. A shiver ran through her body at such images, and her pushing and assertiveness seemed to multiply tenfold, loose olive-green sweater fluttering against the wind and jeans hanging from her waist.
A loud sigh of relief left her as she burst through to the front, sweat beading on her forehead and loud pants quickly escaping her mouth. She slowly brushed her hand through her black hair, putting it behind her ear to reveal emerald green eyes. She reached into her pocket, fishing a small ticket from it before handing it to the receptionist of sorts. One curt nod, meek smile, and nervous "Thanks," later, and she was walking down the wooden dock, looking both in wonder and awe at the ship before her. Her normally pale face was red from all the running, but it somehow seemed to add to the excitement she felt at that moment. This would be a new home.
A new start.

Morgan stumbled through the pedestrians nearing the docks. She eventually reached the area and panted, her blonde hair falling into her eyes. She brushed it out and continued forwards, presenting herself by looking up at the ship while standing on the pier.
"Pretty big...this must be a deal."

Allison froze, snapping herself out of her little stupor before spinning on her heels to look at the man again. There was a small, brown box he was holding up, and she gasped before jogging down the dock, quickly grabbing it from him and thanking him.
"O-Oh, thanks! Really excited, y'know? And I g-guess I forgot it, and I'll just be going now... thanks..." Allison trailed off, chuckling nervously before running down the dock to the entrance of the ship again, hopping inside before leaning against the wall, shaking her head and groaning.
"Great, Allison... you can't even make a good impression to a bloody receptionist...."
"O-Oh, thanks! Really excited, y'know? And I g-guess I forgot it, and I'll just be going now... thanks..." Allison trailed off, chuckling nervously before running down the dock to the entrance of the ship again, hopping inside before leaning against the wall, shaking her head and groaning.

Soon, there was a young teen who walked down on his way towards a harbor. The lad was... different. People looking at him would first notice his snow white hair. The clothes he wore was next with a black, long sleeved shirt with purple cuffs on the wrists. Other than that and the white gloves he wore, the next interesting features about him were his suspender-like belts hanging from his starch white pants and his long white coat with short sleeves and a hood. He also had black earbuds strung across and around his neck.
He sighed from the exhaustion of the walk he made from the taxi stop. Cheep taxi service did not even understand him when he asked for them to take him into the harbor. Thought he was a mad man and tossed him out like the plague.
The lad walked down the harbor. He wished he had the tools he left at home. Maybe he could have made a pair of motorized skates to go down the harbor faster. Soon he saw the ship and said, "Time to show them my skills."

Anthony sighed. "Young lady, your booster and Duelist Identification are still here." He said with a smile on his face. "Don't be afraid to take it a bit slower, otherwise you might make mistakes you'll regret.
He then turned to the boy who was handing him his ticket and handed him his new belongings. "In about 30 minutes you'll get an explination what this exactly is for." He held up the plastic card with the boy's name and photo on it.

Walking up to the dock, Anwen looked at the massive ship that was in front of her, astonished by all of the people going on it along with the sheer magnificence of the vessel. Walking down the dock, she looks to both sides before taking out a lollipop and putting it in her mouth and walking up to the "official looking" man.
"Hello, do I just get on the ship or what?" Anwen asks in a nervous tone, looking down and adjusting her skirt before looking back up at him.

Allison froze up again. She could hear the receptionist's voice from within the ship - anything embarrassing seemed to travel with her rather well. She groaned again, pinching the bridge of her nose before bracing herself and walking out of the ship onto the dock again, this time taking it slow. She dropped her head when passing the other student, biting her lip until she got to the man. Her shaky hand slowly grabbed the remaining items, and she slipped them into the deck box before looking up and nodding.
"Thank you... for the advice. And your kindness." And finally she walked away, sure at this point she had everything she needed.

The boy looked at his card. He smiled. They got his name right at least. He was glad to have finally made it here. He then looked within the deck box. He was thrilled. The cards matched his love of machines almost perfectly. He then got aboard the ship. He then figured he would see what there was to do while he waited. So he went off exploring.

A limousine pulled up near the docks, the chauffeur getting out and walking to the back of the vehicle and opening the door, accepting a gilded cane and top hat from the passenger. The passenger, a teenage girl, stepped out, taking the top hat and placing it on her head before grabbing the cane. Lydia leaned slightly on her cane, surveying the scene before her and giving a sniff of disdain at the rabble she saw before her.
Drawing herself up Lydia walked towards the reception desk that had been set up with the confident step of someone who was knew they were in a class several leagues above everyone else. When she got there she produced her ticket, handing it to the man collecting them and waited expectantly.

"You're nervous aren't you? Don't be, everyone here is here for the same thing and I'm sure you won't be the worst duelist of them all. Now what's your name and I'll see if you're on the list and get your things ready for you okay?" Anthony said with a gentle smile on his face, he remembered when he was like that when he entered the first tournament he ever went to. He saw another girl walking up to him and showed him her ticket. "One minute miss, I'll be right with you." He said with a calm and polite tone.

Allison stopped and turned, giving a slight chuckle and holding her things tightly in her hands, pale skin becoming starch white as the blood drained from her grip. "Ah... Allison Rose. A-And sorry... I'm just... well, nervous. Like you said. I was never a p-people person..." With that she finally resolved to just waiting until she was dismissed, hoping it would save her from further embarrassment.

You'll get instructions about what that pass is and what you can do with it in 30 minutes."
He took the second girls ticket and quickly took out all her stuff and placed it on the table in front of him. "Here you go. I assume you heard what I said about the pass just now. Don't be late." Finally the last girl gave him his ticket and he took out everything for her as well, however as soon as he placed her booster on the table he made an oooh sound. 'I don't think she's going to like this pack.' "Well that's everything I hope you'll have fun with it."
As Daichi was walking around the ship he saw multiple rooms completely decorated to act as class rooms, another room which was almost similar but seemed to be for recreational use only and a giant living room with a TV and DVD player with some DVDs laying around it, an air hockey table a few chairs and couches and some bookcases filled with books.

Everett grinned as he wandered through the docks, 'This is it, no more running away. No more looking down on myself, it's time to finally move on, move on and find a better tomorrow. It's what my Father would have wanted,' The young boy thought to himself.
He saw the ship and ran towards it, excitement flowing through his movements. He skidded to a stop right in front of the receptionist.
"Don't worry, I have my ticket." He said as he reached into his pocket. His eyes widened as he felt nothing, worry shown through his eyes as he checked his other pocket.
"I know I have it here somewhere." He took off his book bag which looked to small to hold enough supplies for any journey.
"AHA! I left it here. Sorry for the holdup." Everett rubbed the nape of his neck sheepishly and handed his ticket to the receptionist.
He saw the ship and ran towards it, excitement flowing through his movements. He skidded to a stop right in front of the receptionist.
"Don't worry, I have my ticket." He said as he reached into his pocket. His eyes widened as he felt nothing, worry shown through his eyes as he checked his other pocket.

Morgan walked to the rec room, where she had a clear view of who was stepping onto the ship. She paid each one of them a small bit of attention before going back to sifting through her deck.

After seeing the rest of the passengers and students being dismissed, Allison gave a shaky smile before turning around again and walking back onto the ship, her eyes glued to the floor as her peers passed by her. This was going to be a long year if that was how she currently interacted with people, but hey.
It couldn't get any worse, right?

Once she received her things Lydia boarded the ship and made her way to the recreation room. Walking to a couch she sat down, crossing one leg over her other knee and resting her cane in her lap, then opened her deck as well as her booster pack, quickly scanning through the cards to see what she had to work with. Giving a slight nod of approval she put the deck into the pouch at her belt and went to one of the bookshelves, selecting a favorite of hers, War And Peace by Leo Tolstoy and returned to the couch to read.
