Wonderland Chapter 1: [The Crux]

While there is only one known universe there are so many more out there, each one having their own story each one with their own set of "Gods" or people with a higher power. There is though an outside, a place where things die, go to rot, go to never be seen again. This place is called Unbound.

Intro:
You wake up to the burning sun, sand everywhere, you feel horrible. Starting to get your senses back together you start to look around, noticing other's laying on the ground, waking up. There's a palm tree covering up some of the sun but it's not the best. As you stand up you notice clear water everywhere, and towards the north side, land. The land consists of deep rain forest, and almost no shore, as if it just cuts off into ocean. If you look closely you could see some figures moving but it was too dark to tell anything. Towards the south side you see nothing but ocean, the same goes for the east and west.

- One Liners will not be tolerated and you will be given a strike, 3 strikes is a ban.
- Develop your character. Seriously, don't bullshit
- Make friends
- You don't have to side with one group just because the "plot" is sending you there, there are other characters you are able to interact with, NPC's, Villains, etc.


*Your first post CANT be half assed, meaning if you write some random shit of how you woke up and just go into the Rp it wont be allowed. The intro is supposed to give you a feeling of what the surrounding is like, but you guys haven't woken up yet, you have to wake up your own character.*

unknown of weather her bullet landed the hit or her dagger landed the slash or not she got blasted backwards. doing a slight flip in the air before sliding across the ground. all fours planted on the ground as she slid. her dagger and gun still in her hand however. she slowly stood straight up. a smirk on her face. "this is kind of fun..." she said to herself before darting forward. back into the town and weaving between buildings. seeing a foot soldier infront of her as she ran. she slid down across the ground and brought her dagger down to the ankles of the soldier. slicing at them as she slid, hoping to cause him to fall straight to the ground to give katz a good opening.

Cass rapidly fired arrows down at a gion the gion didnt show any signs of weakening. Cass spent some time getting a clear shot, he had a steady shot on a Gion he fired the arrow, the arrow flied through the air at incredible speeds and went straight into the gions eye.

Katz jumped backwards, looking at the gion he was facing smiling as Cana tried to attack its ankles, if it was he would run at the gion and stab his sword into it's eye. Katz saw what was happening with dreva and hoped she was okay, he couldn't go over right now though.

Jade had been laying down suppressing fire and it didn't appear to be doing anything. Realizing this was pointless, she holstered her guns and took out her knife, running towards the action ready to help if needed.

Aegan reached one of the humanoid Gions and looked at it's body looking for weaknesses in the structure and saw 2 of them right on the bat. One on the upper leg and one around the left elbow. He ran towards the Gion with chisel and hammer in hand the moment he came close the Gion noticed him and swung his sword at him, Aegan scared of what might happen held his arm up to block the swing. The slash only went half way though the armor and the rest of the sword was stuck in the armor. He quickly jammed the chisel in the upper leg and logged it in the obsidian which caused the Gion to take a step back, Aegan seeing this knew that he had to act now He swung his hammer and stepped in aiming for the chisel. But the humanoid stepped backwards causing the hammer to only chip the chisel and create a huge crack in the upper leg making the leg very unstable and the chisel fell to the ground.

Not knowing what to do Aegan ran towards the Gion who pointed his hands towards Aegan, he could guess what was about to happen so he started zigzagging to prevent a solid aim for the Gion. But it did not care and fired a burst of Lava at him who nearly missed him but the heat made it very uncomfortable for him. It was then that he remembered he had a sword which he left behind so he thought about the sword and it came flying towards him, running past the Gion who was off balance because of the crack in his leg saw the sword coming towards it and tried to dodge it as well as possible.

The sword missed the main body but hit the damaged leg causing it to break off and occasionally spurt out lava on the ground. Grabbing the sword Aegan looked at the creature wobbling on one leg. He knew that he shouldn't come too close with the lava dripping everywhere, so he decided to do the same thing he did before. He threw the sword at the Gion who was surprised but easily dodged it by jumping to the left. Moving to the same side Aegan recalled his sword and hit the Gion in the head causing him to fall face first in on the ground. Then Aegan knew he has to finish it.

Looking at the creature he had just beaten he didn't want to kill it, he had never killed anyone. How would he ever kill anyone, while thinking about things like that the Gion looked up at him and pointed his hands towards him which started to glow. He had no choice he recalled the large chunk of obsidian towards him and let it crush the Gion. Panting he sat against the obsidian he knew he shouldn't be resting but he had no choice he started touching the obsidian to create a small opening and a small hollow place in the Obsidian where he started to rest. He still couldn't believe what he had just done. (4 energy)

Nox Pushed off the back of the beast as it exploded, the force of the blast propelling her towards a tree, as she flew back she saw Declan's blade going towards Dreava. "Oohh shit" Flipping in the air and landing on the tree trunk feet first Nox used and acceleration symbol to launching herself into range, creating a symbol to slow Declan's blade and another to accelerate Dreava's own reaction speed.

Cylon turned to see Katz fighting off Gion. He changed his running direction to go aid Katz first. Once arriving, he flicked his wrist and Chastiefol lunged forwards towards the Gion's nape (base of the neck).
"So I see you're having fun without me! Need help there bud?"

Dreava felt a burst of speed accelerate through her, followed by a second one. No doubt this had happened again; she remembered the first time. Dreava's sense of drowsiness instantly disappeared as she found she could think twice as fast and understand things at a million miles a minute. She glanced at the metal whip in her belt and at the blade behind her preparing to release multiple volts of lightning as an idea began to cook in her head. With precision, it might work. She drew the whip from her belt and snapped it at Declan, not to where it would hit him, but to where it would cross the path of the blade, glance off of it, knocking it off balance, and stick it's barbed point in the grass between her and Declan.
The whip crackled with electricity and grew extremely hot, but the pain was bearable. Dreava felt burns reach up her arm, much like a similar occurrence she had gone through earlier with Dormire, but not nearly as painful.
After a while, the Lightning discharged. Dreava took a knee and pulled her whip out of the ground, retracting it and hooking it back to her belt. She panted heavily.
"Okay...that was a little too close...I seriously need a nap." She felt the temporary speed and energy from both Nox's symbol and Dormire's hyper sense burst immediately leave her, making her feel more drained than she could have fathomed five seconds ago. Dreava examined her arm. It looked rather bad, but the pain had been reduced to a dull throb and small sting. She looked up at Declan and Nox.
"Well...that happened..."

Declan tensed and quickly pulled his sword back. With a grimace, he turned his head in the direction of the fire trail that Gurreign had left.

"Tch...You're lucky to be alive. Next time, don't announce your damn existence to the enemy with a stupid megaphone." He began walking in the direction of the flames, his mind locked onto one thing: Killing Gurreign.

"Son of a bitch almost made me kill an innocent girl...I'm gonna take his head..." He muttered to himself as he walked.

Nox hit the ground with a roll and jumped to her feet, swaying slightly. She wasn't used to expending this much energy this quickly and the stunt she had just pulled was taking its toll.

She turned to Dreava, "You didn't die, that's what happened. Anyway, beast is dead, last two archers got away though." Nox then mumbled more to herself than to anyone else "I'm going to need a nap after this..."

Echo stared at the Gion, frowning when she noticed the already regenerated wound. This was going to be a long battle... apparently, assassination wasn't too effective. Well, there was only so much it could take.

She jumped forward again, eyes locked on it to make sure it didn't hit her by surprise. Her daggers came slashing to her side at its head as she jumped past it, attempting to graze it and maybe hit an eye in the process before running behind it to dodge an attempt to attack her.

Aegan laid down in his obsidian dome catching his breath while he let go of the sword. He looked up while laying there for a minute or so not sure what to do next, the obsidian made it hard to hear things around him; So he created a few low openings so that he could look outside. (5 energy)

Echo used the momentum to throw herself away before the Gion could slam her down, landing on the ground before turning back to it. She frowned as her daggers melted before her eyes, and she tapped her foot patiently.

"Huh... I don't imagine punching it will help, will it?" She began looking around, trying to find a way to harm it.

Aegan was peaking under his obsidian at all the things that were going on and saw that the Woman who had decided to "help" him was in trouble but he knew he wouldn't be able to get there in time. He started to think what he could do while just laying there not sure what would be possible. (6 energy)

Katz smiled towards Cylon and Cana, flying and grabbing Cana, lifting her off the ground so the lava didnt get her "Careful there Cana" he warned, placing her abit away before flying and stabbing the Gion she knocked over in the eye with his sword.

Lucian woke up with-in Cana's shadow and heard fighting happen. He saw that his sister was fighting and and appeared out of her shadow with his pistol and aimed it at the Gions' and shot once unleashing 3 bullets aimed straight at the dying gions head. As doing that he quickly looked around and saw that everyone was fighting and the beautiful village was being attacked and saw puddles of lava all around the battlefield.

cana blinked a few times as she saw both katz and her brother lucian killing the gion. "um...thanks?" she said. "but i could had done it myself" she also said before looking to her brother. "and were the hell have you been y-" she was cut off by katz picking her up and out of the way of the lava. "....again...i can do it myself" she said as katz put her down.

An idea suddenly went through Aegan's head. The force of his blade hitting an gion shattered it so if they hit it with something of the same hardness then they stood a chance. He picked up his sword and turned it into a long stick with a ball on the end and struggled out from under his obsidian.

"ECHO CATCH!" He shouted as he threw the staff at her, the moment the staff left his hands the entire world seemed to become a bit less bright but quickly returned to normal. Almost drained once more Aegan crawled back into his obsidian and laid down again. (1 energy)

Ravin saw the tree he was on was burning. He then looked at the Gion below and noticed its hands open in two directions. As such, he took option 3 and jumped straight down off the tree. He then turned quickly and said, "Smile you son of a bitch!", and fired off his shotgun at the Gion. He then pulled out another capsule, which held his shield, in case things got dicey.

Alisae teleports herself behind the archer, immediately taking the rapiers in her hands and forming an "X", with her arms extended and elbows crossed, and moves her arms over to her sides, then swiftly moving her shoulders so that her arms would be at her sides, and taking a step forward, in attempt to slash an "X" into the archer's back.

Echo looked up to see a staff, made of the same glassy substance the creatures were made of - presumably obsidian - before grinning and waving to Aegen. He had probably thrown it, considering it also seemed to be teeming with his aura.

"Thanks!" She yelled, before catching it and giving it a spin. She paused, though, as her eyes widened under her bandages. All of a moment, the world seemed brighter. Auras became more vibrant and readable, she could see much farther, and all of a sudden the Gion was practically moving in slow motion, or it might as well have been. Echo's suddenly grinned before running forward, staff pulled back and ready to strike. This time, the chance of the Gion doing anything she couldn't expect and dodge would be minimal.

(Assuming Echo is waiting for Gion's reaction to the charge, no attack from her yet)

credo had been protecting, and assisting other Crux. Though he did'nt have control over his powers, his high mobility was enough to to get him by. As credo stopped for a breather, a crux, running at full speed, ran right into him. Credo was launched backwards a few feet having the breath knocked out of him. As Credo fell his mind went blank, and everything started to spin. Credo clasped his hand shut ,but couldn't feel the knife in his hand. He looked over and saw it laying on the ground far from his reach. Credo felt sluggish, and his body wanted to relax and just rest... Despite the chaotic environment, Credo just wanted to stay on the ground and let exhaustion take over. In his current condition he was an easy target.

cana sighed slightly. looking at katz before looking at her brother and pulling him out of the way of the lava spilling out of the corpse of the gion. "be more careful lucian...." cana said. sighing slightly before saying to him. "now were the hell have you been? i was bloody worried this entire time" she said to her brother. slightly annoyed with him.

Lucian looked at his sister rubbing the back of his head smiling "I was kinda asleep in your shadow sis heh got pretty tired. So whats going on whats the party for?"
