[TAoB](Mid/High) Journey to the island 1

A man in his late 20s was standing in front of a window of a ship looking at the endless blue ocean in front of him. The man didn't seem very impressive, he wasn't tall or muscular. The colours of the clothes he wore were starting to fade and they looked somewhat stretched. The shirt he was wearing was very light blue, however it was clear it once had a much brighter color which had a print of multiple playing cards. Further more he wore normal jeans and a pair of normal shoes which noses were almost worn out. His light brown hair was messy like he just woke up and didn't bother doing anything about his hair. As the man was looking out of the window, the door behind him swung open with a loud screech. A man in a suit was the one who had opened the door and seemed to be the polar opposite to the one  looking out of the window. He was tall, muscular and and looked like he cared what people thought about him. The suit looked like it was made for this man which made him look even more impressive. His voice echoed throughout the room as he spoke, it was a deep somewhat hoarse voice.
"Hey Anthony, how long do you think you can just stay around here? You know that we'll be arriving shortly, if it weren't for me I'm positive you'd still be on the island."
The man turned around with a carefree smile on his face as if the words didn't phase him and sighed. "I know, I know. You don't have to keep reminding me every time you get the chance Dirk. What were you doing anyway, you also almost missed the boat. That's very unlike you." Anthony replied with a playful tone in his voice his voice was fairly neutral, almost no emotion that he didn't want to could be heard from his tone. Although he sometimes spoke a bit too fast and a syllable was lost, other than that there wasn't anything special about his voice.
"Yeah, that's right. However after noticing that you weren't on the ship 30 minutes before we were going to depart I decided to go looking for you, since knowing you the chance of you missing the boat was high. You might've defeated me in tournaments before, however your behavior outside the tournaments aren't anything but unprofessional." Dirk said with a sharp tone in his voice.
Anthony chuckled nervously "You've got a point there, however how could I stay focused while I was thinking about all the children who will go to this school?" He said with excitement in his voice.
Dirk started to calm down a bit and sighed. "I get where you're coming from, however you should REALLY mind the time." He took a quick glance at his watch. "Hmm. we're not scheduled to arrive for another 30 minutes." As soon as his sentence ended a sly grin appeared on his face and asked "Wanna play?"
"You still gotta ask?" Anthony replied without thinking in a playful tone. "So wanna play for real or just for fun?"
Dirk's grin grew wider. "You still gotta ask?" He said in a similar tone to Anthony.

"Well then, seeing how you challenged me, I'll begin. My turn. Draw! Hmm..." As soon as the duel began Anthony seemed to change, his personality and the vibe he had changed in a snap. From easy-going and lazy to completely focused and serious. "I set a monster and end my turn." Anthony's voice seemed deeper and could easily be heard throughout the entire room, due to the confidence that was behind the voice. He made a simple hand gesture at the end of his turn signifying Dirk could go.
Dirk looked at Anthony to see if he could read a bluff from his face but nothing was showing. "Okay then, my turn. Draw! It's best to have a strong start, and hope you've got nothing there. I normal summon witch's apprentice and activate Yami. My monster now has 1250 attack. Battle phase. My monster attacks your set one."
Anthony flipped the monster and grinned. "Too bad, Armail has 1300 defense. Take 50 damage."
Dirk's face was completely calm however he wasn't. 'A monster with 1300 defense, really?! I would've prefered a mystical elf over that." He sighed. "Well that's everything I can do for now. Your turn."
"Well then." Anthony said with an excited voice. "This is where things get interesting. Draw! I tribute my armail to tribute summon lava battleguard in attack mode."
Dirk's face twitched for a second. "Lava Battleguard huh, that's a pretty good card. Was it your recommendation?"
"Uhuh, anyway Lava Battleguard attacks your witch."
Dirk sighed and put his monster in the graveyard "I take 300 points of damage."
"Well then I think I'll leave it at that for now. Your turn. Let's see if you can draw a card that can combat my Lava Battleguard."
Dirk drew a card. 'Exactly the card I was waiting for.' He set the card he just drew and 2 cards in his spell and trap card zone and passed the turn to Anthony.
"Ah you bastard, you know I don't know these decks by heart." Anthony exclaimed. "Ah well, nothing I can do about it. Draw! Exactly what I needed. I equip legendary sword to my Lava Battleguard which boosts his attack and defense by 300 points and I attack your face down."
Dirk smiled. "Sorry, it's a Mystical Elf and with Yami her defense is 2200, you'll be taking 350 points of damage now."
"Is this your definition in fun, tying the lifepoints with your oppon-" As he started looking back at his cards he'd noticed the time. "Sorry I have to leave."
"Afraid you might lose because you can't get over my monster?" Dirk said with a wide smile on his face.
"No, well actually yes. However that's not the point. We'll be arriving shortly, and I doubt people want to see me wearing this." He gestured to his outfit.
Dirk sighed. "For once you're right. Go, you might still have enough time to fix everything." He said in a playful tone.

About 20 minutes later 2 men were standing on the ship, both wearing suits. As the wind was blowing rather strongly they were looking at the harbor which was getting closer and closer. "You ready for this Anthony?" Dirk asked. Anthony nodded, if one were to compare how he looked before and now no one would believe it was the same person. His hair was neatly combed, he wore a well tailored suit which made him look taller and bigger than he actually was. He sighed. "I hope people will show up and don't think it's some sort of prank."
"Don't you worry about that." Dirk exclaimed. "We've got perfectly credible financial backers who surely have promoted the hell out of this school." A security guard came running towards them. "Mister Deon, mister Bobson, please come inside for your own safety we're about to dock." With that they walked inside and waited until the docking was complete.

About 15 minutes later a small desk was put next to the entrance to the ship where Anthony sat and Dirk was inspecting everything on the ship hoping everything was in order.

Scanning his DI Videns would start the duel off. "Okay, Let's begin and I'll start things off, I draw. I'll start off by setting 3 cards face down then summoning servant of Catobalism in attack mode then end my turn."

"Thats all you got! Draw".Caspar mumbled to himself "hmm he has a weak monster with quite some backrow, thiers no way to tell if those are spell cards or legit traps..." "alright ill summon the Takuhee Monster card in attack mode, and with this i will attack your monster! With that ill end my turn!"

"Okay, then, my turn I draw. I summon my Mushroom MAn #2 in attack mode, Then i shall equip one of my set cards, Sword of Deep-seated, boosting my man's attack by 500, then I'll get him to attack your monster. Then I'll end my turn."

"aghh, no problem draw!". "ill play the fissure magic card! Then ill summon my blue winged crown!"

"well too bad for you, My spell gets sent to the top of my deck for next turn." Videns said arogantly.

"thats no problem hehe. Alright now ill attack directly with my blue winged crown! Now ill end my turn!"

"My turn and i Draw. Now, I'll summon my cannon soldier and equip him with my sword." Viden said moving his cards around from his hand to the field. "Then I'll get my soldier to attack your Crown, after that I'll end my turn."

"ugh not again. Draw! alright ill set one card and end my turn!"

"Ha, That's it. My turn then, I draw." Videns said picking up. "Okay, now i summon my Rainbow flower in attack mode. Now My flower shall attack you directly with his effect, then my soldier shall attack your face down monster. After that I'll end my turn."

"hehe you destroyed by Witch of the black forest! When this card is sent to the graveyard i can search a monster with 1500 or less defense points from my deck! With this i will add my Blue-winged Crown. Now i will activate polymerization! to fuse my niwatori and Blue-winged crown to make Punished eagle! Now ill set a monster on the field! Now ill attack your Cannon soldier with my Eagle! looks like your equip card will go straight back to the top of your deck. looks like ive done enough ill end my turn!"

"Good, My turn, and you already know what im gonna draw. I'll tribute my rainbow flower to summon my catapult turtle in defence mode. I'll then equip my sword to him, giving him 500 more defence points, so he cant be destroyed by that fusion monster of yours. And now i end my turn."

"ugh ill get past that defence one way or another, draw! ill set a card and end my turn! "

"Ugh this is going to take a while, isn't it. I draw. I summon my dark king of the abyss in attack mode, then attack one of your face down monsters.

"hehe not so fast! My face down monster has 1400 defense meaning you will take 200 points of damage!"

"Not to worry, yoi shall be taking more. I activate my turtles effect, by tributing a monster you take half that monsters attack points as damage! So i Tribute my king so you take 600 points of damage. Then after that, I'll end my turn"

"Draw! Ill tribute one of my facedown monsters to summon the monstrous bird! Since thier not much i can do ill end my turn!"

"Okay then, My turn, I Draw! I'll set a card then end my turn, You're up."

"Draw! ill set a card and end my turn!"

"I draw, I use my spell card Final flame, dealing 600 points of damage to you, then end my turn."

"draw! Alright nows the part where your turtle meats its grave! Ill summon the bladefly monster card! And with this my wind monsters gain 500 attack points! I'll also activate my follow wind magic card to give my monstorus bird 300 additional attack points! Now i willl attack your turtle with my Eagle

"You sure? I activate my trap, Castle walls, Giving my turtle 500 more defence points, so none of your monsters can pierce it!, How do ya like that?"

"ugh dont ask so tough it only lasts for one turn! Now ill end my turn"

"Okay my turn i Draw! I summon my Blast Sphere in attack Mode. I'll now use it to attack your Blade Fly, now reducing all your monster's attack! Now I'll end my turn"

"ugh thier goes destroying your turtle, draw! Nothing.. Alright i will attack your blast sphere with my Monstrous bird! Then ill end my turn!"

"Your lucky i forgot about my Turtle's effect. Now it's my turn, I Draw."

"You forgot! Dont make me laugh i wonder how you even got into this dorm your move!"

"I summon my Mystic lamp in attack mode, then have it attack you directly, then I'll use my turtle's effect to deal some extra damage to you, after that I'll end my turn. Oh and by the way i got in cause i had skill. Didnt need to suck any dicks, unlike some people." Videns said trying to agrivate him.

"HAHA god your funny skill?!? What a joke if im right you didnt even get tested! My turn draw! your lucky im not drawing anything good. Now your move i end my turn!"

"I did get tested, but things happened that stopped me from winning. Now my turn, I draw! Now I'll end my turn."

"yah like maybe inexperience and lack of skill! Dont act like your so good because you can keep up a high defense turtle to stall! My turn draw! ill end my turn"

"Oh, Believe me I don't, But i know you aren't that skilled if you can't get rid of it. Now i summon Ooguchi in attack mode, and with his effect he can attack your life points directly, then I'll use turtle's eff to tribute it and do extra damage. Then I'll end my turn."

"so you plan on winning by tributing all your monsters for damage! Draw! what is the matter with all these dead draws". "i end my turn!"

"Again, wow. I draw then! I'll set two cards then end my turn"

"draw! im about done with these draws! I'll normal summon my winged guardian dragon #2!
now ill attack your facedown with my dragon! if you think your winning your wrong! You havnt seen anything from my deck yet! I end my turn"

"Sure ya do. I Draw! I summon my dark gray, then use my turtle's eff to tribute him and deal some more damage, then end my turn."

"draw! ugh my good cards will come eventually. Alright i play the mountains field spell! and end my turn!

"Fine, No skin off my back. I Draw. And now i equip my second sword of deep-seated to my turtle, giving him 500 more attack and defence. Now  end my turn."

"god another one! alright ill draw! Now ill end my turn! god where is my shield and sword" Caspar mumbled to himself without his opponent hearing

" My turn I draw. I activate my set card Hinotama, Dealing 500 damage to you. I'll set a card then end my turn."

"draw! I'll attack your facedown with my Eagle! Hehe now its over for your turtle wow your really bad i havnt even drawn my good cards yet! Ill now play the Share the pain magic card! to tribute one of my monsters! So now your turtle meats its grave! Your finished because now the only cards you will be drawing will be your two equips! I end my turn! How does it feel to lose!"

"I draw." Seeing he had nothing Videns sighed heavily. "I end my turn you win."

"God you are bad i didnt even have to use any GOOD cards to win! If you think stalling with a tortoise and tributing all your monsters will get you the win then your wrong! Its to bad my Harpies didnt get it on the action!"
